Today Sofia is 7 months old. She had a check up and now I can report all of her official measurements to you. Finally.
Weight: 6.6kg or 14.55 pounds. This puts her in the 5-10 percentile in weight. That's not bad for orphanage living. I'm sure she will be fattened up quickly when I get her home.
Height: 68cm long or 26.8 inches. This puts her in the 50-75 percentile in length. Not bad. She might be taller than her mama.
Head circumference: 43 cm or 16.93 inches. This is the 25-50 percentile. Also very good. Not too big, not too small.
Some people have been asking what size she is wearing.....
She is wearing 6-9 mth clothes. Its kind of tight due to the multiple layers of clothing underneath. 9 mth are a bit big, but more comfortable. By the time she comes home in early December, 9 mth will probably be right.(Even without the layers.)
This morning, Sofie played and worked out as usual, but this afternoon she felt hot, so I asked Galina to take her 'temp i rature'. She did have a fever of 99.5 degrees. Her nose has begun running. (I know I said my baby wouldn't have a runny nose. Oh well. All of the other wishes have come true so far.)
She is also beginning to drool a lot. So she might be getting her first tooth. I didn't feel anything yet.
Anyway, I hope she feels better tomorrow. Does this mean I have to worry about her tonight?
