Downtown Karaganda

Hello everyone,

Today during our afternoon break we went to the city center. We went last week, but I forgot my camera. So here are some shots I took incognito. I did ask a few people if I could take their picture, but they said Nyet(no) and smiled, I think they are too shy.

I have discovered that Sofia loves music. I brought a portable CD player along, but it isn't loud enough. So today I was on a mission to buy a CD/Boom box for the orphanage. The top picture is of the electronics store where I bought it from. This is the inside of a huge mall made up of many different smaller shops. It is quite nice. All electronics are on one floor. Clothing is on another. Shoes on another. You can find everything you'd need here in Karaganda. It's very modernized.

This afternoon we were singing children's songs to our babies. And we were dancing to Mambo #5. Fun Fun Fun!!!!!
