Preschool Update

The first day of school went well. When I picked her up, I was greeted with a big hug and "I went on the bus" The loud bus". I found out from her teacher that the noise of the bus being raised and lowered was so loud that it scared her and she cried a little. Otherwise she did fine. On her second day, the class made rainforest animal masks. Here is Sofie: I didn't know that there are cows in the rainforest.

First day at Preschool!!

I just dropped Sofia off to her first day of preschool. We had visited before so the classroom was familiar to her. She seemed fine as I watched her eat, not her first, but her second waffle of the day. And, as I watched her go into the bathroom with all the girls to use the toilet. They have a field trip today, and so she will take her first "city bus" ride to the neighborhood library for story time. I am anxious to hear how she did when I go to pick her up this afternoon.

We went to hear Tuvan Music at Alverno College. Tuva is a country close to Kazakhstan. Very interesting and enjoyable.
