I'm 23 Months Old!!!

Well, it's hard to believe, but my baby will be two in just one short month. She is saying new words everyday. She just surprised me the other day, by counting to ten. As you can see on the video, she needs a little nudge here and there, or she would sing "two" forever. Her speech therapist thinks Sofia is a ""sand bagger". That means she knows way more words than she lets on, and they are gonna just start flying out of her mouth one day.




Measurements this month: 34 1/4 inches tall!! (Maybe I should start putting books on her head!) ...and 26 pounds. (Maybe I should give her ice cream everyday!)

Today. the temperature was in the 40's, and that feels like spring to us. We went on our first walk of the new year. Check out the height of the snow!! Most of it should be gone by the end of the week. We are having a warm spell. Hooray!!

We cheered and cheered, and now we celebrate the Green Bay Packers' win of Super Bowl 45!!

Happy Birthday Aja!!

Today, Aja, one of Sofia's friends from the baby house turns 2 years old. Sofie and Aja shared the same room and caregivers for their first 6 months of life. Just before I arrived, Aja was moved to a different room, but I visited her each day during my first two weeks in Kazakhstan, until her mom and dad came to bring her home to Hawaii.

We hope to meet again soon. Happy Birthday Aja. Have fun at the zoo today.
