Sofia the Artist

Yesterday, Sofia was introduced to painting for the first time. She cried, probably because it was something new and different. So today, I painted with her several times, and low and behold, tonight, Sofia the artist emerged. She picked the brush up and started painting by herself.

Hello Dallas!!

I'm 22 Months Old!!!

Today, Sofia and I went to the Children's Museum with our friends Lily and Jane. Sofie's favorite part...the mirrors! She loves looking at herself in a mirror, and this place has a lot of them. We played on an acting stage, on a dance floor, and in a play area with giant blocks.

Sofia is now 34 inches tall! That means she has been growing a 1/4 inch each month for the past three month! She weighs in at 26 pounds, but feels like 46!

First time is not a charm...

...for sledding.

It was finally somewhat nice outside, and we got about 4 inches of fresh snow, so I bundled Sofia up and thought we'd give sledding a try. As you can see below, it's not her favorite thing.....yet. It usually takes Sofia a little time before she enjoys something new. We are expecting more snow on Monday, so Tuesday might be our next sledding attempt. We'll keep you posted.




Packers vs. Falcons


We watched the Green Bay Packers play the Atlanta Falcons. When we cheered, Sofia cheered. She must be their lucky charm in her green and gold attire.
